OVERVIEW
Organizations can greatly improve their workplace environment by making these presentations an active part of their safety programs. Utilizing safety videos as part of your regular training program is a great way to help keep your employees engaged throughout the training session. Additionally, safety videos can help ensure that multiple employees, working different shifts, all receive the same instruction during a training session. We have our Safety Media Library with over 900 presentations that you can check out from our office. We also have a Streaming Safety Video Library with over 475 online titles that can be accessed any time over the internet.
Grant Information
The Utah Labor Commission’s Workplace Safety Grant Program helps the Utah Safety Council provide the latest and most helpful training media presentations.
Safety Media Library
Our Safety Media Library is one of the finest safety libraries in the nation with over 900 titles available for loan. We are continually adding new presentations to our library. No charge is assessed to members of the Utah Safety Council.
*Companies that are not members of the Utah Safety Council are responsible for a $25.00 rental fee per title, due at the time of pick up. Out of state customers should refer to the out of state rental policy. Any shipping charges associated with audiovisual loans shall be invoiced to the user. When returning titles, please insure each title for a minimum of $300.00 each. A $5.00 per day late fee will be charged on late titles. The Utah Safety Council reserves the right to withhold service from organizations, agencies or individuals who are in violation of any of these terms. Care, use and maintenance of Media Library titles and textbooks is the responsibility of the user. The user accepts responsibility for any costs, loss or damage of any materials loaned. The user agrees to conform to all federal copyright laws. Reproduction of these materials is expressly prohibited. Violation of any condition of usage of materials shall cause the user to be responsible for payment of all actual, incidental and consequential damages or losses. These programs may not be shown at public events where a charge is made to attendees. Reporting any problems with the Media Library titles or textbooks to the Utah Safety Council will be appreciated. Stream a safety video at your next meeting. Membership with the Utah Safety Council includes access to our Streaming Safety Video library of over 600 titles, with more being added each month. We have partnered with The Training Network to provide this service.

Safety Textbook Library
Textbooks are available free of charge to member companies of the Utah Safety Council and to all individuals and organizations in the state of Utah. Texts may be reserved up to one year in advance and for a period not to exceed 30 days. For the courtesy of other library users, please keep the reservation time minimum.

A $5.00 per day late charge will be assessed for textbooks not returned within the specified time period. This can be avoided by allowing sufficient time to use textbooks and/or by contacting the Council to extend the return date. The user accepts responsibility for any costs, loss or damage of any materials loaned. The user agrees to conform to all Federal Copyright Laws. The Utah Safety Council reserves the right to withhold textbook rental services from organizations or agencies who are in violation of this agreement. Violation of any terms of this agreement shall cause the user to be responsible for payment of all actual, incidental, and consequential damages or losses.
