BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: EXPOSURE IN THE WORKPLACE (DVD) - Ship to your facility
OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) requires organizations to provide training to general industry employees who could be exposed to bloodborne pathogens as part of their job duties. They are also responsible for developing an Exposure Control Plan. However, the possibility of exposure to bloodborne pathogens is a risk to all employees, making awareness-level training a good practice. This video will cover: what are bloodborne pathogens and how are they spread, info on the exposure control plan, engineering, work , and practice controls, PPE, how to respond to emergencies involving BBP, Hepatitis B vaccine, exposure evaluation and follow up, signs and labels used to warn of potential hazards.
