MSHA Introduction to Work Environment Tour

Course Time: 6:45am to 8:00am

The Introduction to Work Environment is a MSHA requirement for all students taking a New Miner or Experienced Miner course.  It includes a tour of any Part 48 mine and must be completed by a certified MSHA instructor. 

The Utah Safety Council is offering this tour for our students contracted with Rio Tinto / Kennecott.  Approval must be received before students arrive onsite for the tour.  To ensure no delay in this process, registration will close on Thursday at 11:30am before the scheduled Saturday tour.  

Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds are not generally available; however, we can offer credit for any future purchases. We can also reschedule you to a different mine tour date at no cost to you.
