MSHA 8-Hour Annual Refresher for Metal/Non-Metal Surface Miners - WEB-BASED

This WEB-BASED one-day course covers all aspects of the annual training requirements for owners and operators under 30 CFR Part 48 for surface metal/non-metal mines. Those who successfully complete this course will return to the job with the skills necessary to perform their work in accordance with MSHA regulations. Upon completion, students will receive a completed 5000-23 annual refresher training certificate. This certificate will need to be renewed one year after completion. 

We only offer cancellation credit for future courses or the option to reschedule, provided we are notified at least 24 hours before the course start time.

This class is approved by MSHA and students will receive a 5000-23 certificate with completion. Each student is required to have access to a desktop or laptop, web camera, microphone, speakers, and internet for the duration of the course. 

Please Note: Students must be present for the full course to receive a certificate.  Driving while taking the web-based course is strongly discouraged.  The Utah Safety Council reserves the right to reschedule students who are engaging in activities that are a distraction or could be deemed unsafe.

Member: $1,450 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $100.
Non-Member: $1,700 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $110.
